Course Content: The program covers measurement taking and an introduction to the fundamental concepts of skirt culotte design, followed by instruction on drafting patterns. The latter part of the day will involve cutting and sewing activities.
Key Learning Outcomes: Participants will learn how to construct a fitted front waistband and an elasticated back waistband, as well as how to design overlapping front panels and pockets.
Additional Note: Depending on individual learning pace, incomplete work, will be considered as homework.
This course is conducted in a small classroom setting of 5-6 students. The primary language of instruction is Mandarin, with some basic English.
